The new Schüco window system AWS 65 is an ideal economical solution with excellent thermal insulation. It is easy to install and can be used for various types of buildings. Together with Schüco façades and windows, it offers many possibilities for a contemporary and modern appearance of the structure.
High-quality aluminum system with an extensive range of solutions
As part of the Schüco AWS system platform, the thermally insulated window system provides a wide range of solutions with a basic depth of 65 mm to meet various building envelope requirements.
It is based on functional, energy-efficient, and design features of aluminum construction: perfectly matched components combine advantages such as good thermal insulation, narrow visible widths, and concealed, standard manual or electromechanical connections for windows that open inwards or outwards.
An additional benefit for architects and designers is the wide range of opening types, such as windows with a tilt-and-turn opening option, vent windows, balcony doors with a low threshold, and functions that allow the window to open first in tilt mode and then in turn mode. In this case, there is the option to lock the turn opening with a key. There is also the possibility of producing balcony doors with a ZERO-level threshold, where the threshold is completely flush with the external and internal floors.
The design of outward-opening windows with a central seal is also available as a double-leaf window with resistance to burglary in accordance with the PAS 24 testing procedure.
Within the system platform, a wide range of profiles is available, including corner posts, structural posts, symmetric and asymmetric posts, as well as numerous design variations and additional combination options, such as shading and ventilation systems from Schüco.
